Clinics

Antenatal Clinics

Antenatal Clinics take place on a Tuesday morning with midwives in attendance.

We ensure that our care is consistently delivered to the highest standards!

Baby Clinic

The Health Visitors hold assessment clinics for baby milestones weekly. The Health Visitors check that they are growing and putting on weight and they also check their hearing, vision and mental development. To arrange an appointment, please contact the HV office on 028 87 784978.

There is a drop in baby clinic every Wednesday between 9:30am – 10:30am. No appointment necessary. Please book in at reception on arrival.

Asthma Clinic

Asthma patients are monitored and assessed on a regular basis by the practice nurses who check that they are using their inhalers properly and that their lung function remains good.

Chiropody (Podiatry)

The doctors can refer patients to chiropody who need assessment and treatment of foot problems. They specifically look after our diabetic patients feet as they are at higher risk of ulcers etc. This service is available through Moy Health Centre or at Thomas Street Clinic in Dungannon. You will need to book an appointment with your GP to initiate the chiropody referral.

Well Women Checkups Clinic

There are allocated times with all female doctors and practice nurses for women to have smear tests carried out.

Well Man Checkups Clinic

Doctors or practice nurses check patients cholesterol, blood pressure and for diabetes etc; all of which are risk factors for heart disease and strokes.

Diabetes Clinic

The doctors and practice nurses run diabetic clinics to monitor the blood sugars and diabetic side affects for their diabetic patients. They monitor their treatment and also the dietician and podiatrist attend the clinic. There is also a computerised diabetic retinopathy eye check clinic every year.

Child Immunisation

Child Immunisation and development checks are encouraged for pre school children. These are carried out by either the Health Visitor or Practice nurse.

Family Planning

This is available through appointment with any of the doctors also a coil fitting is available by appointment.
