Appointments

Patient Access. Click here to order repeat prescriptions and book appointments online.

Patients can now book an appointment and order their repeat medication online. Please contact reception to receive your unique patient identification number and pin number to set up patient online access.

To make an appointment to see any of the Doctors; please telephone 028 87440376.

At Moy Health Centre you can make an appointment to see a GP on that day or for a day in the future. When you ask for an appointment the receptionist will offer you the next available appointment with a GP. If you know you need to make an appointment for a planned review with a particular GP you should do this well in advance, before the GP gets booked up. If you leave it to the day you need to see the particular GP and the GP is already fully booked there is nothing the receptionist can do but offer you a later date with that GP or an appointment with an alternative GP.

We try to help but you need to be flexible too. If you refuse an appointment with a GP this fact will be recorded in your notes. You cannot ask to be phoned back by your preferred GP in the hope that he/she will fit you in on the day. Fully booked means fully booked.

Please note that the practice will ALWAYS accommodate urgent cases.

During normal working hours in the event of an emergency please call Moy Health Centre on 02887440376 option 1.

Cancelling Appointments

It is important you contact the Health Centre if you are unable to attend your appointment as soon as possible to cancel. By doing this you are enabling another patient to avail of your appointment. If you miss 3 appointments in a 12 month period we have the right to remove you and ask you to find a GP elsewhere.

You can cancel your appointment by telephoning reception or you can send a text message to 07751043440, please include your name, DOB, and the date and time of your appointment.
